I am passionate about the environment, animals, photography, and learning new things every day. I research ways to be greener, live sustainably, and grow my food. I adore animals and love to rescue them when I can. My family sugars every year, and we produce our maple syrup. We hang 700 buckets and gather plus boil as a family.
My favorite hobby is wildlife photography. A goal of mine is to submit photos for National Geographic. I have known I wanted to become a Wildlife Biologist since I was young. I also want to help create a greener Earth and help educate people on how to do that. Wolves are my favorite animal. I enjoy learning everything I can about them. I find enjoyment in all species of animals and find joy in learning about habitats, management, conservation, and more. My goal is complete my Associate's Degree and transfers to Unity College to pursue my Bachelor's Degree. Then, I will continue to receive a Master's in Wildlife Biology. I am active in Climate Change education through social media and in person. I am passionate about finding ways to lower our negative impact on our Earth. In high school, I attended Green Mountain Technology and Career Center. I studied in the Forestry program. We practiced sustainable logging, mapping, how to use a compass, ecology, Christmas tree management, sugaring, business, and more. We learned how to use heavy equipment and power tools.
Scholarships would help provide financial stability for me to continue to attend college. I enjoy college and continue to maintain top grades. I am a Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society member.
