I am currently working toward my Master of Education in Counseling, focusing on both School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health. My long-term goal is to become a counseling psychologist with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. I’m drawn to this work because I want to help people strengthen their relationships, communicate more openly, and feel supported during difficult moments.
I’m passionate about creating spaces where students and families feel understood and seen. Working in the school system matters to me because it gives me the chance to connect home life with school life in ways that truly support a student’s well-being. My hope is to be someone who families can trust, and someone who helps bridge the gap between what students experience at home and what they need to succeed in the classroom.
I care deeply about equity in mental health, and I’m committed to challenging the systemic barriers that make care harder to access for many communities. This work feels meaningful to me, and it’s where I feel most aligned with my purpose.
I consider myself a strong candidate because I lead with empathy, consistency, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact. I’m committed to growing in this field and to showing up for the people I serve with compassion and integrity.
