I am a 32-year-old African American, lesbian, who, after many trials, has decided to make a return to academia and finish her dreams. There was once a time when I thought I had it all figured out, and life interceded to humble me. I have finally cleared the way for me to be able to focus on school and reach the dreams I thought I had to give up on. Seeking scholarships to help carry me through this journey while minimizing the financial burden of it.
