I am a student dedicated to STEM. I have taken three PLTW courses and nine AP classes, including AP Chem, for which I received a 5, as well as AP Calc, Physics, and Stats. I have additionally been involved in out-of-school STEM learning, such as a CAD-based summer internship for WBLA, an aerospace engineering course at WPI, and manufacturing and welding courses through BVExcel. For my senior project, I chose to organize a chemistry presentation for middle school students, including three seperate reactions, in order to teach them about the basics of reaction rates and acid/base interactions, and to instill in them a passion for STEM. I plan to pursue aerospace engineering in college, as I have long been drawn to space and the sky. I greatly value service. It is my desire that my work as an aerospace engineer may serve humanity, and this is one of the core reasons I wish to become an engineer, along with my love for solving issues and understanding the world around me
