My connection to Wrangell IGA, our local grocery store, runs deep. It is not just a place of employment; it is a symbol of family history and perseverance. My grandfather's dedicated service of over 30 years at Wrangell IGA has instilled in me the values of hard work, dedication, and service to others. Now, as a 17-year-old, I proudly follow in his footsteps, working at the store to support myself and contribute to my family's expenses. However, despite my efforts, the financial burden of higher education looms large. With limited financial resources, I face challenges in covering tuition fees, textbooks, and other educational expenses. Receiving financial assistance would alleviate this burden and allow me to focus more fully on my studies. It would provide me with the opportunity to pursue my academic passions and contribute meaningfully to my community without the constant worry of financial strain.
