My name is Seamus Fearing, I'm 17 years old and my biggest goal in life right now is to earn my bachelors degree in aviation maintenance management. Of course I have many other smaller goals but currently the main ones are to earn enough money to buy a new car this summer, pay for my missions trip to Jamaica in June and pay for my college tuition. Life has always had a way of throwing challenges our way, and I've had my fair share of financial constraints, personal setbacks, and academic challenges. However, rather then giving up when faced with these obstacles I used these opportunities to learn and gain personal growth. Coming from a modest background, the cost of pursuing a degree in aviation maintenance management presented a formidable challenge. However, rather than letting financial constraints deter me, I've sought out scholarships, part-time work, and other avenues to achieve my goal. Throughout high school I've encountered subjects that posed significant challenges, and self-doubt became a persistent adversary. Instead of letting these obstacles define me, I sought guidance and assistance. Through hard work and perseverance, I not only overcame academic hurdles but also developed a tenacity that would prove invaluable in pursuing my dreams. Life outside the academic realm is equally unpredictable. Personal setbacks, be it health or family issues, definitely has significantly impacted me and my goals. I've faced such setbacks with a resilient spirit, seeking support from friends, family, and mentors. These experiences taught me the importance of adaptability and maintaining a positive mindset even in the face of adversity. Each adversity I've faced has played a pivotal role in shaping my aspirations and goals. The determination cultivated through overcoming academic challenges fuels my commitment to excel in my aviation maintenance management studies. The financial struggles have instilled in me a sense of responsibility and resourcefulness, traits essential in the aviation industry. In conclusion, my name is Seamus Fearing, and I am not defined by the adversities I have faced but by how I have overcome them. The most daunting adversities I've overcome and am currently working on overcoming would be self-doubt and different financial struggles. As I set my sights on Liberty University and a future in aviation maintenance management, I carry with me the lessons learned from challenges I've overcome. Adversity has not hindered my journey; it has propelled me towards my goals, making me more determined, resilient and ready to soar to new heights.

Hello, my name is Seamus Fearing, and throughout my entire life, I have been homeschooled. This has allowed me to pursue my passions, including my dedication to weightlifting, powerlifting and skateboarding. Alongside my pursuits, I am deeply committed to community service through my church, where I actively engage in volunteer activities. One of the most impactful experiences in this regard was my mission trip to Jamaica, where I contributed to building a church and renovating a school. These experiences have shaped my perspective on the importance of community impact and service. Post-high school, I am excited to start furthering my education at Liberty University, where I plan to earn my A&P certificate and pursue a master's degree in aviation maintenance management. This educational path aligns with my passion for aviation and my aspiration to contribute to the field through skilled and knowledgeable expertise. My commitment to community service extends beyond my academic interests. Through my church, I have participated in community impact which entails giving food and clothes to people in need of it and also doing yardwork for the elderly. The biggest impact I feel I've made while volunteering was when I went to Jamaica and not only helped do some construction and renovation work but also I was able to spend time with the locals and participate in fellowship with them. This experience not only allowed me to contribute to the well-being of a community, but also taught me valuable lessons about teamwork, resilience, and the power of collective effort. If given the opportunity to start a charity, I would establish an organization dedicated to uplifting the lives of impoverished children and homeless individuals. The mission would revolve around providing essential resources and support systems to these vulnerable populations, aiming to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness. The primary focus would be on ensuring access to education, healthcare, and basic necessities for underprivileged children. This could involve building schools, providing educational materials, and implementing programs that address the unique challenges faced by children in impoverished circumstances. For homeless individuals, the charity would work towards not only meeting immediate needs such as shelter, food, and healthcare but also developing comprehensive programs that foster long-term solutions. This might include initiatives for job training, mental health support, and transitional housing, empowering individuals to regain stability and independence. Volunteers would play a pivotal role in implementing these programs, engaging directly with the communities in need. From tutoring sessions for children to mentoring programs for individuals transitioning out of homelessness, volunteers would contribute to creating a supportive and nurturing environment. By focusing on these specific demographics, the charity would aim to make a tangible and lasting impact on the lives of those who are often overlooked. The overarching goal would be to break down barriers, create opportunities, and empower these individuals to build brighter futures for themselves and their communities. In conclusion, my experiences throughout homeschooling, weightlifting, community service, and international mission work have shaped my character and fueled my desire to make a positive impact. Liberty University will be the next step in my journey, equipping me with the skills and knowledge to contribute meaningfully to the aviation industry. Thank you for considering my application. Sincerely, Seamus Fearing

From a young age, I have been driven by a deep desire to help those in need and make a positive impact on their lives. Through various experiences, I have had the privilege of embodying selflessness and witnessing the transformative power of lending a helping hand. One significant instance was my participation in a week-long mission trip to Savanna-lah-Mar, Jamaica. Alongside a dedicated team, we worked tirelessly to renovate a school for underprivileged children, enabling them to access education that would otherwise be out of their reach. Additionally, we contributed to the construction of a church in Montego Bay. This experience not only broadened my perspective on life but also deepened my connection to my faith and my relationship with God. Furthermore, my commitment to serving others extends to my local community. I frequently engage in volunteer outreach projects, such as the upcoming initiative to clean up the yard of a sick and elderly individual. By dedicating my time and effort to tasks like weeding and raking, I aim to alleviate their burden and provide them with a safer and more comfortable environment. In addition to community service, I have also volunteered at a local food bank, sorting and distributing food to families experiencing food insecurity. Witnessing the gratitude on their faces as they received the much-needed provisions reminded me of the importance of selflessness and the impact it can have on the lives of others. In addition to these individual efforts, I volunteer in our children's Bible classes every other Sunday morning. It is a joy to guide and mentor these young kids, fostering their spiritual growth and instilling moral values. Moreover, during my involvement in Boy Scouts a couple of years ago, I actively participated in monthly outreach projects, ranging from litter clean-ups to assisting individuals in need. Volunteering has been immensely rewarding for me. Although the impact may not always be immediately apparent, I firmly believe that every act of kindness has a ripple effect. By extending a helping hand, I have witnessed firsthand the positive changes it brings to individuals and communities. These experiences have solidified my belief in the transformative power of selflessness. In conclusion, my journey of embodying selflessness has been enriched by various instances of helping those in need. From my mission trip to Jamaica to local volunteer initiatives and community involvement, I have strived to make a difference in the lives of others. By devoting my time, energy, and resources, I have not only impacted those I assist but I also hope that I am playing a part in creating a better world for all.
