My name is Scarlett Tames, and I am an incoming MBA student at Wharton, University of Pennsylvania, majoring in finance. I earned my undergraduate degree in Communication from the University of California, Santa Barbara. As a first-generation immigrant, I am deeply committed to enhancing the accessibility of essential housing for mid- and low-income communities through impact investing in multifamily real estate and affordable housing. Currently, I serve as the Vice President of Acquisitions at Clear Capital, where I direct the firm’s multifamily investment strategy across the Western United States. I am an emerging leader within several industry organizations, including the Urban Land Institute, Commercial Real Estate Women, and the Association of Asian American Investment Managers. After completing my studies at Wharton, I will continue to dedicate my skills and connections to further my impact in the affordable housing and impact investing sectors.
