Hello! My name is Savanna Gumowski, a senior at Valley Vista High School. Softball has been a part of most of my life, starting at the age of 7-years old. Although it hasn't been easy with my heart-defect, I always keep pushing myself to achieve being not the best player but my best player. If people were to describe me in three words, those three words would be kind-hearted, compassionate, and selfless. On the softball field, I shine with skill and teamwork, showing my passion for the sport. Off the field, I have a special gift for connecting with children, with lots of patience and understanding. Ever since starting softball, I always had an eagerness in me to become a coach one day. Through my experiences, I have observed and learned from other coaches what makes a great coach.
