My ultimate goal is to be able to complete furthering my education so that I may be able to become the singer/songwriter and musician I’ve always wanted to be since I was in preschool. I’m passionate about music and art and how it relates to humanity. I believe any form of self expression that can help to unite the world we live in should be celebrated and nurtured. I’m a great candidate to receive a scholarship because I understand the value of the dollar as I grew up in a humble setting with a single father. I’m also a perfectionist and tend to excel in things I’ve dedicated my time and self into. I’ve also had a lot of experience thus far pertaining to post secondary education and what it takes to succeed and I don’t see failure as an option. The only thing holding me back from being able to complete my education is finance. Should I be chosen for a scholarship, I promise I won’t disappoint and will make those involved and those I will interact with in the future most proud. I just need the chance, the opportunity to prove to the world and myself that I am worthy, capable, and able to be the first in my family to complete a college education.
