I'm excited for the BOLD future I'm envisioning, and pursuing a college degree is the next step in that process. I have a keen interest in learning more about digital design and combining my computing skills with graphic design work. In high school, the types of tools and materials are very limited, especially for graphic design. As a result, I was not able to get the experience I needed with digital drawing, as we focused on other mediums like digital painting & photography. I'm excited for the opportunities to explore a wider variety of materials and tools used in graphic design. Furthermore, I look forward to the opportunity to participate in an internship program so that I can see what it is like to work in the field in a real world setting. Having firsthand experience will help me understand how skills I’m gaining will apply to my career, begin to build connections and a professional network, and enlighten me on how to create a pathway and plan for accomplishing my goals and achieving success in the visual arts. Having completed high school with a 4.8 weighted GPA, I have demonstrated my dedication to excel in whatever I put my mind to, and I'm looking forward to the BOLD future I create.
