Hello!! My name is Santino Rodriguez. I am currently a sophomore in high school, trying to accomplish both personal and academic goals. As a high school student, I plan on finishing my IGETC before I graduate. I joined a program called Early College Academy (ECA), which allows me to take college-level classes while in high school. I enrolled in ECA to complete some of my college classes before graduating. This program helps me achieve some of my college goals and gives me a head start on my college courses. I plan on Majoring in Psychology, which is a class I believe is an important part of society to help others. I love learning about Psychology to better understand the human mind and the behavior of people. As I work to Major in Psychology I hope to gain the knowledge to help others and understand people. In 2024, I became a Fire Explorer for the Ontario Fire Department. I learned the values of courage, integrity, service, courtesy, and loyalty through my experiences with the fire department. I enjoy being able to work with firefighters and being able to know what it is like to be one. I am proud of all my accomplishments, like maintaining a 4.0+ GPA and being part of many extracurricular activities, like the clubs my school offers, such as welding, Latino Dance, feminist club, Christian club, and the auto club. Engaging with different cultures is essential to growing as a person, this is why I try to do as many extracurricular activities as I can. I am determined to achieve any goals that lie ahead of me.
