      Studying Computer Science and becoming a game developer has been a long-standing dream of mine. In this essay, I will outline my plan to study Computer Science in college and the steps I intend to take to fulfill my ambition of becoming a game developer. To embark on a successful journey in Computer Science, I recognize the importance of a strong academic foundation.       As a high school student, I noticed that many of my peers were struggling to balance their school work, extracurricular activities, and personal life. Keeping track of assignments, tests, projects, and other responsibilities was a daunting task for many of us. I wanted to create a solution that would help my fellow students stay organized and manage their time effectively. That's when I came up with the idea for a digital planner. My digital planner is a website that students can log into using their school email address. Once they're in, they can input all of their assignments, tests, and projects into the planner. The planner then helps them prioritize their tasks based on due dates and sends them reminders as deadlines approach. Additionally, the planner includes a feature for students to set goals and track their progress towards those goals. One of the biggest challenges I faced when creating the digital planner was designing a user interface that was intuitive and easy to navigate. I spent a lot of time researching other planner apps and websites to get inspiration for the design. I also conducted surveys and focus groups with my peers to get their feedback on the user interface. Based on their feedback, I made several iterations to the design until it was user-friendly and visually appealing. Another challenge was getting students to use the planner regularly. I realized that many students were used to using paper planners or just writing their assignments down in a notebook. To overcome this challenge, I had to find a way to make the digital planner more engaging and convenient. I added features such as badges and rewards for completing tasks on time, and I made sure the planner was easily accessible on both desktop and mobile devices. If I had the money and resources to improve my digital planner, there are several features I would like to add. Firstly, I would develop a mobile app version of the planner to make it more accessible for students on the go. This would allow students to easily input assignments and goals, as well as receive notifications and reminders. I would also add a feature that allows students to collaborate with each other on group projects. This feature would allow students to share their work with each other and work together more efficiently. Finally, I would incorporate an artificial intelligence (AI) component that could help students identify areas where they are struggling and offer personalized advice on how to improve. This feature could be based on data such as the amount of time students spend on each task, the types of assignments they struggle with, and their overall progress towards their goals. The AI component could then provide personalized recommendations and resources to help students improve in those areas. In conclusion, my digital planner has been a useful tool for my fellow high school students, and I believe it has the potential to help students across the country. The planner helps students stay organized and manage their time effectively, which can lead to better academic performance and less stress. With the added features of a mobile app, collaboration feature, and AI component, the planner could become even more valuable and impactful for students.
