My biggest influence has undoubtedly been my father. In a world that often prioritizes fields other than art, he recognized and nurtured my artistic abilities, encouraging me to pursue a path where I could "make something" of myself. He saw potential in me that, at times, I didn't fully see in myself, and his unwavering support has been the bedrock of my artistic journey. He instilled in me the belief that art is not just a hobby, but a viable and valuable means of achieving success.
As I prepare to graduate and embark on my career, I aim to use my design skills as a graphic designer to uplift and contribute to the art community. I want to be a force that demonstrates the power and relevance of art in contemporary society. My goal is to innovate within the field, creating designs that not only meet the practical needs of clients but also push creative boundaries and challenge conventional aesthetics. I hope to prove to those who doubted the viability of an art career, including some of my own friends, that artistic talent, when combined with dedication and innovation, can indeed lead to fulfillment and achievement. I want to show them that art is not just a passion, but also a profession.
What sets my artistic gift or skill apart, I believe, is a combination of factors. Firstly, it's the depth of personal connection I have with my work, a connection fueled by my father's belief in me and my desire to validate that belief. This emotional investment translates into a unique perspective and a commitment to creating art that is both meaningful and impactful. Secondly, I strive to blend traditional design principles with cutting-edge techniques, resulting in a style that is both timeless and contemporary. I am passionate about experimenting with new technologies and pushing the boundaries of what is possible within graphic design. Finally, I believe my art is characterized by a strong sense of purpose. I am not content to simply create aesthetically pleasing designs; I want my work to communicate, to inspire, and to make a difference, particularly within the art community that has shaped me. Ultimately, I envision myself as a creative entrepreneur, using my graphic design skills to uplift and empower other artists. I want to build platforms and create opportunities that showcase the value of art in all its forms. Whether it's through branding, marketing, or visual storytelling, I am committed to using my talents to advocate for the arts and demonstrate its transformative power in the world.
