My grandparents both died on the same day. They were a huge part of my life and were great role models. My grandpa was someone that I never understood how smart he was until recently. Almost every day I think about how much I could have learned from him, and I remember the things that he did teach me. I want to use the things he taught me to become as good as I can at Music, and I hope that someday I am even a fraction of the musician he was.

I do research for the money-saving website and scholarship websites (like this one). I have also been sharing the tips I've learned with my friends and family so that they don't have such a financial burden.

I want to be the kind of teacher that leaves something with the students to think about after each class. I am planning on being a music teacher and I want to teach them to not only become great musicians but excellent people. I want to teach them to communicate effectively through music, which is a lesson that I learned from my grandpa but did not put into effect until this week. That is what I want to show them, to communicate through music in a way that someone looking in can feel the meaning of what they are playing.

Higher education is important to me because it will send me down the right path to become the best music teacher I can be. I want to become the best musician I can and inspire my students to do the same.
