Articulate, well-rounded, and confident in dynamic and challenging settings. I am a former US Army Sergeant and Watercraft Operator. I was selected for 1 of 1 position as the first Leading Seaman of the US Army's Maneuver Support Vessel (Light). I want to continue my service in the military as an officer so I can better care for and have a more significant influence on junior Soldiers. Improving the military's leadership culture is a big dream for me. One thing I am focusing on is improving recruitment and retention policy among first-term soldiers. Furthermore, using my leadership skills gained through experience and academics will be instrumental in preparing the next generation of leaders as I progress through the ranks. I want to leave something behind for people.
