Bio

I’m an aspiring musician and composer in multiple genres and on multiple instruments. I strongly believe in the intrinsic value of working hard, helping others, being open to learning from all sources, and obtaining a diverse education. For myself, this ethos has led to serious explorations in music, philosophy, mathematics, martial arts, English, global studies, and writing. I’ve chosen to pursue music for the next phase of my education as it provides a rare opportunity to explore an intersection between personal expression and the broader connectedness of humanity. In addition to refining my own expression through music, I hope to study the music of other cultures to create performance art that cultivates open-mindedness and acceptance towards others by bridging cultural gaps through collaborations with other artists. I will be continuing my music studies at the Eastman School of Music through the University of Rochester.
