The importance of education has always been instilled in me since an early age. As the daughter of immigrants, I have been taught that education is the great equalizer in life. With that mindset, I've developed a love for learning that can only be described as passionate, and oftentimes obsessive. I've learned to push myself to my limits because doing so allows me to see what I'm capable of. I do not always succeed but in times of failure, I've gained knowledge that helps me to grow as a person. I pride myself on being persistent, never allowing myself to give up until I've reached my goals. I strive to combine my passion for education with my need to help others. I participate in many volunteer works because I believe that during times of need you should always do something to help. This is the reason for my wish to become a doctor. It allows me to explore the science behind the human body whilst also allowing me to help others.
