Hello, my name is Samara Adams. I am currently a 20 year old enrolled in an accelerated Bachelors of Nursing program. My "why" has always been to help others. I hold many qualifications to include being nationally registered as an EMT (NREMT-B). I have over two years of experience working in healthcare as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), a Patient Care Technician at two different hospitals, and currently as an Emergency Department Technician and EMT. I volunteer with my local city as an EMT-B, running both day and night for 12 hour shifts. I have proudly served my community since 2022 in an organization called Civil Air Patrol, Air Force Auxiliary. I have held many leadership positions at my home squadron and state (wing) level. I am currently the commander of my squadron and hold the rank of Cadet Captain. After completing my bachelor's degree in nursing, I plan to work in the Emergency Department and obtain a certification as an emergency nurse (CEN). My end goal is to become a Certified Flight Registered Nurse with medivac flights. It has taken a lot of hard work to get where I am at, but I am more than willing and ready to make sure that I reach my goals. I joined Bold.org because I would like to get through my education as debt-free as possible and allow myself to focus more on my education and helping others. In my free time, I have found an interest of hiking and being outside. I love to sing and taught myself how to play the ukulele. I also have a love for true crime!
