The challenges I have faced have instilled a deep understanding and compassion for those living with mental health conditions. By challenging societal stigmas, fostering meaningful relationships, and pursuing a career in mental health, I aim to contribute to a more inclusive, empathetic society where mental well-being is prioritized. Through my personal journey, I have learned that our struggles with mental health do not define us, but rather, they create an opportunity for growth, resilience, and a chance to make a positive impact in the lives of others. I want to be able to continue to further my education to not only pave a way for a better, more comfortable life but, to be able to show my two young children that regardless of any bump in the road you may face in life that through prayer, hard work, and perseverance anything is possible! I truly believe that I have not only the determination to be a nurse but the drive and passion that it takes to wake up every morning and put one foot in front of the other and share my life experiences with individuals who struggles with the same things I have struggled with and continue to struggle with.
