I am passionate about math and working. I have a 3.9 GPA and am getting into AP classes. I love marching band while just getting into it. I've been playing the clarinet for 7 years. I am currently in the AFJROTC at my high school, have 25 volunteer hours, and have been to the Goldwater Air National Guard Base. Next year I am playing in Carnegie Hall with my high school band.
Outside of school, I love hanging out with friends, playing sports, and cooking. I also have a commitment to giving blood with the American Red Cross. So far I have given 3 pints, with my 4th appointment coming up in July.
With my efforts to get in to college, I have gone to many campus tours, including an ASU Sun Devil Day, and I will be a part of the W.P. Carey Rising Leaders Program at ASU during the summer to learn the different majors in business.

It just seems really easy to me. I don't know. I'm two years advanced in math, and I love when I can just understand how to get a solution to an equation. I would rather use applied mathematics rather than theoretical math because I like getting an actual solution to something, and I would like to get a number rather than a formula to get something. I'm also doing AP Physics C as well as AP Calculus AB, because I really wanted to do calculus based physics. I find math a fun challenge and I do very well at it. In my past years of math classes, I have been in all honors math classes, or in the case of this year, in AP math classes. These classes also were all As for me, and I'm really happy about that. I want to major in business administration with relation to math in some fashion. I would major in just mathematics, but I have family who advised me not to do JUST that, so I'm still going to do math related things in my future since I feel that I am that good at it. I'm excited to move forward with my last 2 years of high school, do AP Calculus BC next year, and get ahead in math in college too!
