      Art of Giving Scholarship
I'm currently enrolled Boston University, the tuition of the school is pretty expensive. I think this investment is worth it compared to high-quality education. But I also want to relieve some of the financial burden from my education for my parents. At the same time, I have decided to continue to study in a graduate school. I want to do my best to contribute to my own education within my abilities, and save more money in the future.
Ethel Hayes Destigmatization of Mental Health Scholarship
Mental health is an important aspect for everyone, but it is something that is easily overlooked by most people. Mental health just important as physical health. I am a sensitive person because of the divorce of my parents since childhood, but my mentality has always been very good. I think the most important thing for mental health is to learn how to regulate one's emotions and accept new challenges with a positive and optimistic attitude. The failure of my undergraduate application made me close to collapse a few times, but after calmly thinking about it, I felt that keeping myself in a negative state would not help me in any way. I began to try to divert my attention to other things. And decided to transfer during the university. Let me realize that failure is not horrible. What's horrible is being hit by failure and letting myself go with the flow. While realizing and solving my mental health problems, I also learned a truth that is very important to me, that is, don't give up easily. When I failed to apply and shed tears almost every day, how could I think that after two years, I still successfully entered the school of my dreams? If I had given up at that time and within the past two years, then there would be no chance again.

My biggest inspiration in my life is to never give up, because you will never know what is going to happen in the future if you give up. The biggest failure in my current life is the failure when I apply for college, I was very depressed at the time, as if my life was in darkness. But I quickly cheered up and decided to transfer. I worked hard in my undergraduate study. The reasons for such a choice are simple: on one hand, I am having solid, rigorous mathematics skills at hand ever since middle school and familiar with Mathematics, which has laid a solid ground for me to explore more advanced courses in finance and economics; on the other hand, my interest also comes from the financial courses I took in high school. As a result, I decided to start my career path in the financial industry after graduation. Led by this goal, I became extremely focused on my finance courses at university. I would preview the contents of each class and mark the doubts I have in order to solve these problems more efficiently in class. Due to my habit of keeping an eye on the current economics from the media, I would organize meetings after class, with my classmates to discuss recent major events and exchange our opinions. Through these practices, I sharpened my understanding of economics and the financial market on a broader scope. Although I have achieved an outstanding academic record and earned scholarships in my current university, I find the curriculum offered here unable to fulfill my developing hunger for more advanced knowledge and skills that could help me navigate in the ocean of finance with ease, and I desire to learn the latest theories and communicate with the most prominent experts in the field. And finally in this summer, I successfully transfer to Boston University, drew a perfect end to my determination and hard work over the past two years.

Making the most of my years in school and laying a solid foundation for my future development has always been my prime goal in university. To achieve that goal, I chose Business Management as my major when I entered the University of Arkansas and worked hard in my undergraduate study. Therefore, I am determined to transfer to a more reputed program which could provide me with a more rigorous academic training. Besides, after graduation, I plan to continue my education and pursue an advanced degree in finance, which will prepare me better for the market and help me in job hunting in the long run. With this in mind, I decided to transfer to Boston University, the program at Boston University with rigorous training and strong alumni networks becomes my ideal next stop. Fortunately, I was successfully admitted to the Boston Business School, and I am about to start a brand new journey in a new school. In the long term, after I have accumulated enough experience and capital, I hope to have the opportunity to establish a company of my own to better realize my value.

Music have been by my side all the way, just like an old friend. When I am happy, they are by my side to conquer the world with me, and when I am sad, they are also by my side with me to spend the low ebb of life. I have been learning piano since kindergarten, and I had already obtained the seventh certificate before high school. After coming to the United States, I hope to try some new music to better integrate into American campus culture and club activities. For this reason, I joined the school band and started learning saxophone again. Although it was quick to get started because of my musical foundation, it was very painful at the beginning because the band training has to be divided into grades, and I was in the bottom band. Nevertheless, driven by the desire to win, I gradually gained solid experience and skills through assiduous practice. I was soon promoted to the upper level band, knowing that success could only be led to through hard work. In my senior year, my marching band won the state championship and made the history of our school. Most importantly, it has granted me the confidence to take challenges, the courage to commit, and the tenacity to sick with what I love.

When I was very young, I liked all kinds of things related to numbers. Gradually, this interest developed into a long-term academic preference: when I encountered math problems, unlike many classmates who regarded them as a difficulty or a challenge, I would regard it as an interesting little game with myself, and to complete a problem is to win in it. This sense of accomplishment through solving mathematical questions has always encouraged me to continue to explore in this field with long-standing interest and passion. After taking courses of macroeconomics along my educational path, I was immediately fascinated by it. The greatest charm of economics to me is that it could explain general and complicated phenomena in our society with very refined models and terms, of which the high level of abstraction is exceedingly similar to that of mathematics. Conscious of this in mind, I aspired to pursue a further education that would integrate mathematics with economics so that I could explore both domains in the long term. When I learned about business, I found it to be the perfect combination of the two fields, which aims to generalize business models and summarize the pattern of economic phenomena with mathematical knowledge applied in financial analysis in order to provide support for business decisions. It not only incorporates knowledge from both fields but also leads to their application in real life. An education in business that would assist me in utilizing theoretical knowledge in business practices to influence larger communities hereafter becomes my pursuit. The story between me and my specialty, because painting and music have been by my side all the way, just like two old friends. When I am happy, they are by my side to conquer the world with me, and when I am sad, they are also by my side with me to spend the low ebb of life. I have been learning oil painting since kindergarten, and I have persisted until I was in high school. I have been taking painting courses and won awards in competitions. Music is another old friend. I have been learning piano since kindergarten, and I had already obtained the seventh certificate before high school. After coming to the United States, I hope to try some new music to better integrate into American campus culture and club activities. For this reason, I joined the school band and started learning saxophone again. Although it was quick to get started because of my musical foundation, it was very painful at the beginning because the band training has to be divided into grades, and I was the lowest grade. I hate this feeling of being at the bottom, and I also know that as a newcomer, to surpass others, you can only work harder and try harder. Therefore, I spent most of the semester training hard and finally successfully upgraded.

I hope to have the opportunity to share stories between me and my profession, because music has always been by my side, just like an old friend. I have been learning piano since kindergarten and have already obtained the seventh certificate before high school. After coming to the United States, I hope to try some new music to better integrate into American campus culture and club activities. Therefore, I joined the school band and started learning saxophone again. Although I got started quickly due to my music foundation, it was very painful at the beginning because the band training must be divided into grades, and I am the lowest grade. I hate the feeling of being at a low point, and I also know that as a novice, to surpass others, you can only work harder. Therefore, I spent most of the semester of hard training and finally succeeded in upgrading. In addition, the band's training itself is also very painful. We have to get up at six in the morning to train and participate in football matches and band games on Friday night and Saturday, which usually takes a lot of time. Many of the friends who joined the band resigned at once, but I still persisted until the end, because I hope to draw a perfect end to my choice. It is not my way to give up halfway and give up when I don't like doing things. I think this is essential for a person who wants to achieve a career. In the days to come, I will maintain this spirit and will not give up easily. I firmly believe that this will help me keep improving and realize my value!

My life model is my mother. Since I was a child, I began to have a strong interest in numbers because of watching her work. And my mother often taught me the most useful word for me at the moment, that is, never give up. The earliest and biggest failure in my life was during my undergraduate application stage. In the end, I went to a school that I didn't like very much and matched it. But I did not give up. In this summer vacation, I successfully transferred to Boston University. Going back to my major and numbers, for me, the greatest charm of economics is that it can use very sophisticated models and terms to explain the common and complex phenomena in our society, and the high level of abstraction is very similar to mathematics. With this in mind, I hope to continue further education and combine mathematics with economics so that I can explore these two fields for a long time.
