I went through romantic relationships as a young teen with older men where I was unaware of the mistreatment I was experiencing during those relationships. Your Power resonates with me because it's a plea to all women and men to make sure that an older partner is not taking advantage and abusing their partner. 2. CHIHIRO: Chihiro is a beautiful melodic and slow song. Billie shows off her mature, yet still wide range of vocals and words. This song resonates with me because Billie's lyrics about the loss of something or someone that was loved, but is no longer there. Overall, this is a soft yet powerful song. 3. &burn: This song takes me back into my teenage heartbreak days. Billie captures the raw emotions about the experience of giving your love to someone just to have them completely break your heart. This song resonates with me because it allows me to sink into my sensitive emotions, as I am someone who tries to appear strong on the outside so I'm not looked back at when I let myself show how I feel inside. This song also alludes to the "What if...?"'s that I've gone back and asked myself thinking about the person who I thought loved me back.
