I am a freshman at the University of Arkansas, pursuing my passion for theater and arts education. I work in the costume department in the Theater Department, gaining hands-on experience in production and design, and I serve as a Walton Arts Center Student Ambassador, helping to expand access to theater and the arts for students in under-resourced communities.
Growing up in rural Arkansas, I saw firsthand how geography and income can limit opportunities, which inspired my dedication to advocacy and empowering others through creative expression. Throughout high school, I was deeply involved in both my school and community, holding leadership roles such as Junior Chamber of Commerce Board member, Junior Fair Board member, Senior Class President, Drama Club President, Key Club Vice President, and Student Council member. These experiences taught me the importance of service, responsibility, and creating spaces where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.
Beyond leadership, I have been a dedicated member of the Lady Bobcat golf team for four years, learning teamwork, consistency, and patience. I also supported the Bobcat volleyball and Lady Bobcat basketball teams as a manager, helping ensure smooth operations behind the scenes. These experiences, combined with my theater work and community advocacy, have shaped my commitment to using my skills and voice to make a meaningful impact on others and to expand access to creative opportunities for all students.
