Bio

I attended college early at the University of Southern California as an advance admit under the Residential HAonor Program. This means I skipped my senior year of high school to start my educational career early. I felt I was ready to attend college as I wanted to share ideas and experience the world in a deeper and more connected way. I have connected with professors who are active and busy in their fields and am learning skills and making contacts, who will be part of my working and social life forever. I sought and found a community that challenges both my intellect and worldview while forming a family I will treasure as a personal support and an academic/career resource. All this stems from my love of the challenge of learning to maintain tolerance for others while standing strong in my own viewpoints. I hope to be part of creating a more inclusive, synergistic world. My future career goals is in law. I have been interested in studying law since elementary school. As I have grown up, I have come to understand that Law is the application of theory into real-world situations. Through education and experience, I have come to embrace the belief that a country’s laws have been and will continue to be crucial to successful societal interactions. The history of the legal system continues to impress me as a living record of generational values of both a nation and the people it represents— as well as an interactive response system which records the issues a society chooses to address. To be part of the legal system is to be a part of making history and working to make life better, both within this country and internationally. I love the challenge of facing a new problem and working on helping others to solve problems in a constructive and inclusive way. I am excited to leave a legacy of work which will make a difference in the world by interacting with government, society, individuals, and businesses, or other special interest groups, both here and internationally. I get excited just thinking of the great minds I will get to explore and share values with. I love to research and debate, and I want to share my knowledge with others, as I help serve their needs and hold them to a standard of ethics which our world seems to be lacking at the moment. I believe the fields of business and law are where my skills and interests will best intersect to confront the issues of today and help shape a positive world for tomorrow. Working in law and business will also demand of me a level of intellectual and emotional dedication which will help me continue to grow personally for the rest of my life, as I will be required to not only analyze history and its answers to problems but also innovate solutions for today’s abstract and complex world. Working in law and business means working in something larger than myself, and yet being able to be personal and express my own worldview. I have also been privileged to be around many people practicing law in my life. I believe I have a realistic idea of what my life will be like through knowing them, but that is also reassuring because I believe that I can do it, and do it well. I have seen the difference lawyers make in the world, and I want to do it too.
