Rylie Weller

Rylie Weller
Bio
Hello, my name is Rylie Weller and I am a senior at Liberty Ranch High School in Galt, California. Ever since kindergarten, I've been a determined, hardworking, inquisitive, creative, and responsible student. I prioritize my schoolwork, not only because I want to receive good grades and graduate, but because I am a firm believer in life-long learning. I stand for honesty and love and will stand up for those I care about at the cost of my comfort.
I've always pushed myself to be the best version of myself and the best student I can be. I was blessed with supportive teachers and family members that have always encouraged me to reach for the stars; they truly have shaped me into the independent student, and young woman, I am today. Because of their guidance and support, I have discovered that my passion in life is to serve others and give back to my community.
I believe that winning scholarships will not only help me achieve my career goals, but also my life goals; to become a physician assistant and help heal people in need. Since I will be a first-generation college student, learning the ropes in college will likely be a struggle at first. Minimizing as much of my student loan debt as possible will help tremendously! And ultimately, winning scholarships will help me pursue my needed higher education without worrying about the burden of student debt. In turn, getting my degree(s) will help fulfill my life goal of being a healthcare provider for people in need, especially those from underserved communities.
