When I was fourteen, I lost my mom to cancer. It felt like losing my best friend and the person who always believed in me. After she passed, my dad sat me down and told me life was going to be different now. Money would be tight, and I would have to grow up fast. He was right. I started cooking for myself, handling responsibilities at home, and becoming more independent than most people my age. At the same time, school became harder to focus on, but I always found motivation in technology. When I was twelve, I built my first gaming PC with parts my mom helped me buy. That curiosity turned into a passion, and eventually led me to cybersecurity. I want to build a career as a SOC analyst and later a security engineer, not only because I enjoy solving technical problems, but also because I want a stable future where I can support my family and protect others.
