Bio

I'm Rukaiah (like Maya, but with an R and K), I’m the first woman in my family to pursue higher education and attend college. Coming from a culture that undervalues women’s education, I had to fight for my right to learn and work to pave the way for others. I have two driving purposes in life: 1. To inspire women from similar backgrounds to push boundaries and achieve what they’re told they can’t. 2. To use technology and entrepreneurship to create solutions - starting with promoting sustainability in fashion and expanding to address other challenges. During my gap year after high school, I launched a private label brand, developing my management skills to successfully lead 5+ software projects. Outside of my work and studies, I enjoy: creating content, exercising, and reading self-development books
