Bold Future of Education Scholarship
A change I believe would make a positive influence in the education for future generations is teaching them a little more about how life works. For example, how to start building up their credit, spending their money wisely, how to start their own bank account, applying for loans, apartment/ house buying paper works, guide on how to get a car/ truck without falling into debt, etc.. All these examples would of definitely helped me a lot if I had at least been introduced to them in high school. Although I am still learning as I go, I would of preferred to graduate with a little bit of knowledge on the daily things of life and how they work rather then graduating and being completely lost. Thanks to my parents and some family friends I was able to open up my first bank account, I am starting to build my credit however it would of been so much easier if I was at least introduced or given a guide about it in high school. Although there are a few more changes I think would really help education for future generations in a positive way, getting knowledge and being a little prepared for life is definitely one of the most important changes in my point of view. In addition most peers I attended school with agree with the fact that they would of also liked to received a little knowledge on the examples I gave before graduating.
