Hi, I'm Roshida! I am a first generation college student at the University of Maryland. I am currently majoring in Technology and Information Design. My passion for art inspires me to use my creativity to foster accessible interfaces for all. I aim to pursue a career in user experience and interface design after university. I currently work at the University Career Center as a Graphic Design Assistant and at the Black Communication and Technology Lab as an Undergraduate Assistant. Previously, I have interned as a Product Design intern @ Ginkgo Bioworks and Cvent. I believe I would be the perfect candidate for any of these scholarships because I strive to receive an education that enables me to make a change in the world. I hope to create impactful design that centers around climate change, immigration and the healthcare system. My priority is to design interfaces that can provide a better world for all.
