Jae'Sean Tate BUILT Scholarship
For students like me who want to reduce their college expenses, there are numerous scholarships available. Many more students, however, are attempting to obtain a scholarship. This means that I must put my best foot forward. I am 46 years old, married, and have two children: a sophomore at
Howard University and a four-year-old son. I’ve been looking forward to getting my bachelor’s degree for a long time. I am an excellent candidate for this scholarship because I handle stress well, am academically capable, and intend to be a valuable asset to the University.
My advantage is that I understand how to deal with stress. I understand the importance of devoting
myself to my studies while also taking time to relax to relieve mental stress. My ability to adapt in the face of adversity has aided in the development of this skill. Whatever is going on around you, mental relaxation is critical for maintaining your health. This, I believe, qualifies me for this scholarship because I will excel in college even if things are difficult.
Because of my eagerness to learn, I believe I am an excellent candidate. There is so much information in the world that it appears impossible for anyone to learn it all. Nonetheless, I enjoy learning new things and expanding my horizons. I intend to continue learning throughout my college career, both in the classroom and on my own. A considerable number of competent candidates are expected to apply for this award. My ability to adapt to tough conditions, capacity for learning greatness, and potential to become a college asset make me an ideal candidate for this scholarship, in my opinion. It would aid me in achieving my educational and life objectives if I were to receive them.

One quality characteristic I value the most about myself is caring for others, I am committed to caring for others without expecting anything in return is known as selflessness. Above all, being selfless requires bringing joy to others and demonstrating to them that everyone, regardless of circumstance, is entitled to happiness. Selflessness does not entail indifference to one's own needs. Continue to make time for yourself, pursue your passions, rest, and overall take care of yourself.
You'll have enough energy to continue assisting others this way. Remember, if you're rested and rejuvenated, you'll be able to serve others more effectively. Of course, we may benefit from this as well because it teaches mindfulness by redirecting our attention away from ourselves and toward the person we're assisting. Additionally, being more mindful allows us to be more aware of and responsive to the needs of others.
Selflessness needs a strong sense of compassion for others. It necessitates expressing one's love for others while refraining from passing judgment. Giving – your time, money, and goods you no longer require, it’s the essence of selflessness. Selflessness is described as putting others' needs before one's own. To be truly unselfish, one must act in a way that helps others. It's critical that you prioritize individuals. At times, you must be willing to delegate authority to other team members.
Being selfless isn't always easy, but it's a crucial part of the process that leads to hard effort, resourcefulness, and a desire to do what's right. However, if independence is pursued to an excessive degree, it can become egotistical.
