My drive to teach came from seeing how determined my mom as a teacher as well as my teachers growing up have been to mine and my peers education and well being. Watching my teachers be determined for my success as well as my mental well being has inspired me to want to be that for the future generations. Their dedication to giving all the tools and personal time i would need as well as ask if I was okay within all aspects of my life had truly shown me what type of person I want to be in my life . That is why teri's story is inspiring to me because if i didn't have teachers like teri who were dedicated I would not have learned or gotten the determination, ambition and passion to teach and help others that i do today . My ambition goes beyond the classroom in order to help further my passion and future. I have in preparation started helping my mom with things around her classroom, taken multiple steps including taking extra classes , shadowing local teachers and babysitting. In the upcoming fall I will start my academic journey of pursuing a early childhood education degree at Minot State University. I chose Minot because of there strong sense of community, and equally strong teaching program . While there i hope to come back home during my student teaching observations to help my community the way it helped shape me . My plan for my future is to come back home and teach the kids there and be the kind of teacher I had for the future generations because I know where they come from and where they can end up with so much success . That ultimately is truly the kind of teacher I aspire to be and why I fell in love with this career. In conclusion those reasons and teachers are the reason I was driven to teaching as a career for my future and my life's dedication. I hope to make students feel prepared and comfortable with learning and growing up ultimately. I will be incredibly satisfied if by the time I leave college I can be even half as comparable to the teachers I had as a child. That as well as being called a good teacher would make me infinitely happy and fulfilled with my purpose as a adult and future teacher .
