Bio

I am most passionate about psychology and mental health as a whole. As someone who has struggled with depression and anxiety for years, I’ve experienced first hand the amount of stigma that is attributed with mental health, especially as a black woman. My main goal in life is to open my own therapy practice that caters towards people of color and help fight the negative connotations placed on therapy. As a person of color, it’s often difficult to find a therapist that looks like me and can actually relate to me as an individual. By opening my practice, I hope to make therapy more accessible, more acceptable, and more affordable for people of color.
