Bio

My life goal would be to finish college with honors; this is fundamental due to not finishing high school and struggling. My dream is to become a full-stack developer or computer programmer. I am passionate about helping other people and teaching my skills to anyone interested in learning. I am 56 years old; I understand an education takes a lot of time and commitment; I am fully committed and will never give up. Thank you, Roger

    Bold Bucket List Scholarship
The important thing on my bucket list is getting my high school diploma and Associate degree. I am a 56-year-old male with a 10th-grade education. I survived struggling most of my life without education, so when I lost everything I owned in the economic downturn, I had almost no success finding a job that paid enough money to live. I worked two jobs, the first 35 miles from home and the second 60 miles from home. I was in an automobile accident coming home from work one day and suffered a critical head injury; the other car driver had very little insurance, just enough to cover the medical bills. When I finally started back to work, Covid 19 showed up—and forced me to leave the job. So I decided to start getting an education. I have been enrolled in an Associate degree for one year now. I'm a dedicated student with a 4.0 GPA on the Chancellor's list in every class. I will be receiving my high school diploma and an Associate degree at graduations. Thank you for the opportunity to apply for this scholarship. Roger W. Ligrano II Student at Pierce College
