I am a dedicated college student at the University of Connecticut Avery Point, pursuing my academic and athletic goals while overcoming significant personal and financial challenges. As a student-athlete with a 3.9 GPA, I have learned the value of discipline, resilience, and perseverance both on the court and in the classroom. Throughout my journey, I have faced obstacles that have required me to adapt and stay focused on my future. Despite setbacks, including injury and personal loss, I have remained committed to my education and personal growth. My experiences have shaped me into someone who refuses to give up, no matter the circumstances. In addition to academics and athletics, I am actively involved in my community through volunteering at my local church. Giving back has allowed me to stay grounded and support others, reinforcing my belief in the importance of service and leadership. My long-term goal is to become a special education teacher. I am passionate about working with students who may feel overlooked or unsupported, and I want to be a positive influence in their lives. Through my experiences, I have developed empathy, determination, and a strong sense of purpose that I will carry into my future career.
