      Charli XCX brat Fan Scholarship
Ever since I first heard Charli XCX on Iggy Azalea’s song "Fancy," I’ve been a fan. I still remember dancing with my friends to that song all night long, feeling the energy and excitement of her sound. So when her new album *Brat* dropped, my friends and I couldn’t wait to listen to it. But my favorite song above the rest is “Apple." Even now, I find myself singing the chorus, and it’s no surprise that it started trending on TikTok. Which made it even hard for me to get out of my head especially with that dance choreography that I had to just learn because whenever I scroll, it was always popping up. "Apple" has such a nostalgic feel that makes me reflect on moments with friends, reminding me of the carefree nights we spent together just dancing and having fun. Charli XCX has always had a way of blending pop culture with deeper connections, and this song is the perfect example of that. That’s why it’s my favorite on Brat—it’s fun, energetic, and unforgettable. The song and its dance challenge brought a whole new layer of fun to it, connecting fans from all over. It’s a reminder of how music, especially Charli XCX’s, can create shared experiences and bring people together in ways you wouldn’t expect.
      Nyadollie Scholarship
Hi, my name is Remiyah Knighten, and my passion for fashion began when I was a child, spending hours cutting up old clothes and transforming them into something completely new. I’ve always been fascinated by the way fabric, color, and design can tell a story and make people feel powerful. Now, at 19 years old, my dream is to become a fashion designer and own my own fashion business. Attending SCAD Atlanta is the key to making that dream a reality, and this scholarship would play a crucial role in helping me achieve that goal. This scholarship would not only help me pursue my degree but also allow me to pay off a $5,000 loan I took out to earn my business certificate, which I’m currently turning into an associate degree. My family and I are working hard to pay it off, but receiving this financial support would make a huge difference. It would allow me to focus more on my studies, the creative process, and building a strong foundation for my future in fashion, without the added pressure of financial constraints. Fashion is more than just clothing to me—it’s a way of expressing identity, creativity, and confidence. I’m drawn to every aspect of fashion, from selecting fabrics to experimenting with textures and styles. I love to mix bold, edgy elements with sleek, elegant designs, always trying to create something that feels both modern and timeless. Whether it’s playing with grunge, pop colors, or mixing different materials to add texture, I’m constantly pushing myself to come up with fresh ideas. Fashion is about limitless creativity, and I’m always striving to turn my ideas into something that’s not only visually striking but also meaningful. What drives me in fashion is the ability to make people feel beautiful and valued. I want anyone who wears my designs to feel confident, powerful, and seen. Fashion has the unique ability to boost someone’s self-esteem and allow them to express who they truly are, and that’s what I aim to achieve with every piece I create. My goal is to design clothes that help people feel unique and authentic, while also challenging the conventional standards of beauty. Attending SCAD Atlanta will give me the tools I need to refine my skills and grow as a designer. SCAD’s focus on innovation and sustainability aligns perfectly with my vision of creating fashion that’s both impactful and responsible. Through my designs, I want to challenge the status quo and promote inclusivity, making sure that fashion is for everyone, no matter their background or identity. By embracing diversity and creativity, I aim to push the boundaries of the fashion industry and make a positive impact on the world. This scholarship is essential to making this dream a reality. It would provide me with the financial support to focus on my education, allowing me to fully immerse myself in my craft and work toward creating a better, more inclusive fashion industry. I’m excited about the future and the opportunity to use my passion for fashion to inspire others and bring about positive change.
Alexis Mackenzie Memorial Scholarship for the Arts
Art has always been a personal passion for me, since I was a little girl. Growing up, I dreamed of becoming a fashion designer, a dream that has only gotten stronger as I’ve gotten older. My love for fashion isn't just about clothing—it’s about storytelling, self-expression, and empowerment. As someone who co-owns a daycare at 19, I've learned the importance of creativity in every aspect of life, from designing engaging programs for children to balancing the demands of running a business. But my heart has always belonged to fashion, and I know that I can inspire others and make a lasting impact. Fashion, to me, is a canvas on which I can express the individuality and diversity of those around me. My designs are not just meant to look good—they’re meant to make people feel good, seen, understood, and valued. I want people to put on my clothing and feel like they’re wearing a piece of art that represents their unique identity. My passion lies in creating inclusive fashion that celebrates every form of beauty. My career in fashion design is more than just a personal goal—it’s a way to inspire others and initiate meaningful conversations. I envision my future collections telling stories of resilience, self-discovery, and empowerment, much like my own journey. My mental health journey has been a big influence on my designs, allowing me to incorporate themes of strength, self-care, and emotional well-being. I hope to create pieces that resonate with people on a deeper level, making them feel more connected to themselves and their emotions. One of my biggest dreams is to attend SCAD Atlanta. I know that through further education and exposure to the world of fashion, I can develop the skills needed to bring my vision to life. I am particularly interested in sustainable fashion, a subject close to my heart. As someone who values both creativity and ethics, I want to be part of a movement that prioritizes environmental consciousness in the fashion industry. I plan to use my platform to raise awareness about the impact of fast fashion and promote more sustainable practices that will not only help the planet but also make consumers think about their choices. Art, for me, has always been a tool for connection, and fashion is a universal language that transcends cultural and societal boundaries. Through my work, I want to create dialogue about important social issues like mental health, identity, and sustainability. I believe that fashion has the power to spark conversations that can lead to real change. My goal is to use my designs to challenge societal norms, make people think, and inspire them to see the world differently. Ultimately, my passion for art and fashion is driven by a desire to inspire and uplift others. Whether it’s through a garment that makes someone feel beautiful or a collection that sparks conversation about important issues, I want my work to leave a lasting impact. Fashion is not just about clothes—it’s about the stories we tell, the identities we embrace, and the world we hope to create. Through my art, I aim to build a better, more inclusive world where everyone feels empowered to express themselves fully.
      Froggycrossing's Creativity Scholarship
Creativity, to me, is the art of turning imagination —a bridge between dreams and the world we live in. It's the spark that ignites when we dare to see things differently, to challenge the norm, and to express ourselves authentically. Creativity is not just about producing art; it's about infusing originality and innovation into every aspect of life. My journey with creativity began when I co-owned a daycare at 18. Managing a business at such a young age required innovative thinking and problem-solving. I had to design engaging programs for children, create a welcoming environment, and find unique ways to connect with both kids and parents. This experience taught me that creativity isn't confined to canvas or stage—it's a vital tool in entrepreneurship and leadership. However, my true creative passion lies in fashion design. Fashion, for me, is a powerful form of self-expression and a medium to tell stories without words. It's where art meets function, allowing individuals to showcase their identities and emotions through style. I am captivated by the process of sketching a concept, selecting fabrics, and watching an idea transform into a wearable piece of art. Fashion design enables me to merge my love for art with my desire to make people feel confident and seen. In a world where technology and artificial intelligence are rapidly advancing, I believe that human creativity holds even more significance. While AI can mimic patterns and generate designs, it lacks the personal experiences and emotions that infuse depth into creative work. My mental health journey has deeply influenced my designs, allowing me to embed themes of resilience, self-discovery, and empowerment into my creations. These personal touches resonate with others on a meaningful level, fostering connections that technology alone cannot achieve. Creativity also means embracing challenges and viewing them as opportunities for growth. Balancing the demands of running a business while pursuing my passion for fashion has not been easy. Yet, it is through these struggles that I've learned to think outside the box, adapt, and persevere. Creativity empowers me to navigate obstacles with optimism and ingenuity. As I look toward the future, I am excited to continue cultivating my creativity as a student of the arts. I plan to develop a multimedia fashion project that combines design with storytelling, possibly through a web series or interactive digital platform. This venture will explore themes of cultural diversity, identity, and mental health awareness, aiming to inspire and uplift others. By collaborating with other creatives and embracing new technologies responsibly, I hope to push the boundaries of traditional fashion and make a lasting impact. In essence, creativity is the heartbeat of my ambitions. It's the force that drives me to innovate, to connect, and to transform my passions into purposeful actions. Whether through designing a garment that tells a story or finding a novel solution to a problem, creativity allows me to leave a unique imprint on the world. It is both my compass and my toolkit—a reflection of who I am and who I aspire to be.
      Love Island Fan Scholarship
"Life Curveballs" is designed to test the couples’ compatibility, decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills by throwing them into unpredictable, high-pressure real-life scenarios that couples might face in the future. These scenarios aren’t just about romance—they touch on deeper issues like finances, family dynamics, and long-distance relationships, pushing the islanders to see if they can handle the complexities of life after the villa. How It Works:* The challenge begins in a designated “Decision Room,” where each couple will sit together, facing a large screen. The room has a professional, sleek aesthetic to mimic a "real-life" decision-making environment (think more boardroom than beach). Each couple is seated on a plush couch with a table between them, creating an atmosphere of seriousness yet maintaining Love Island's signature glam. The host introduces the challenge, explaining that each couple will face one random "Life Curveball," which simulates a major relationship dilemma. These dilemmas could alter their entire future, testing not only their love but their ability to adapt to life's many surprises. The Curveball Deck: A deck of large, branded cards is displayed on the screen, spinning or shuffling like a digital wheel of fortune. Each couple will take turns pressing a button that stops the wheel, selecting their unique curveball for the challenge. There’s no going back—whatever they draw, they must face it head-on. The Curveballs (Scenarios): 1.Secret Debt One partner is presented with a fake legal letter or bank statement, revealing that they’ve been hiding massive debt from their partner. The couple has to sit down and discuss what they would do—whether they’d break up over the dishonesty or make a plan to tackle the debt together. 2. Long-Distance Dilemma One partner is offered an incredible job opportunity in a far-off location (think New York, Tokyo, or Sydney). They have 10 minutes to decide how they’d navigate the situation. Do they do long-distance, or should one move? What if the partner doesn’t want to leave? 3. Ex Factor One partner’s ex is introduced into the villa (or through video call) claiming they still have feelings and want to reconcile. The ex tries to stir drama and points out “flaws” in the current partner, sparking potential jealousy and insecurity. The current partner must watch how their love handles this encounter. 4.Family Feud A family member appears via video call, pretending to be one partner’s overbearing family member. They begin criticizing the relationship or demanding changes, like saying the partner isn’t good enough or “doesn’t fit in.” The couple must navigate this uncomfortable family dynamic. 5. Wildcard Wedding The couple is told they have to plan a spontaneous wedding ceremony in under 30 minutes. The twist? One partner is blindfolded, and the other has to make *all* the decisions—venue, attire, vows, and even a “honeymoon” location. When the blindfold is removed, the blindfolded partner must react to the wedding setup and give their honest opinion. 6. Career Catastrophe One partner receives news that their dream career path has suddenly been derailed—a fake email or phone call informs them they’ve lost their job or an important career opportunity. They have to discuss how they’d support each other through this crisis, including potential career pivots or how they’d handle the financial strain. By the end of "Life Curveballs," the couples will have a clearer picture of what their relationship could look like in the real world. It will separate those who are truly ready for life beyond the villa from those just in it for a summer fling.
      Billie Eilish Fan Scholarship
Choosing just three Billie Eilish songs is incredibly challenging almost impossible because I adore all of her music. She's such a talented artist with a beautiful voice, and her songs resonate with me on a profound level. However, if I had to pick my top three favorites right now, they would be "Birds of a Feather," "What Was I Made For," and "When the Party's Over." 1. "Birds of a Feather" "Birds of a Feather" is a new release that's currently trending, and I absolutely love it. The moment I heard it, I felt an instant connection. The song's melody is captivating, and the lyrics speak to me deeply. It's one of those songs that I want to sing along to every time it plays. The themes of unity and understanding in the song resonate with my own experiences, making it my number one favorite at the moment. 2. "What Was I Made For" Released in conjunction with the "Barbie" movie last year, "What Was I Made For" quickly became one of my favorite songs. The introspective lyrics and emotional depth of the song prompt me to reflect on my own purpose and identity. Billie's soulful vocals add layers of meaning, and listening to it feels like a heartfelt conversation. It's a song that makes me pause and think, resonating with my personal journey. 3. "When the Party's Over" "When the Party's Over" has been a long-standing favorite of mine. Even before the other two songs came out, this track held a special place in my heart. The raw emotion in her voice and the hauntingly beautiful melody make it unforgettable. It captures feelings of vulnerability and the complexity of letting go, which I find deeply relatable. The song's ability to evoke such strong emotions is a testament to Billie's artistry. Billie Eilish's music resonates with me because she sings with such soul and authenticity. Her vocals are incredible, and she has a unique way of conveying emotions that touch my heart. Her songs often make me feel understood and less alone in my feelings. Whether I'm happy, sad, or contemplative, her music provides a soundtrack that perfectly matches my mood. I love how she continually evolves as an artist, and her music never fails to move me deeply.

      Live Music Lover Scholarship
My first concert experience is a memory I hold close to my heart, not just because of the music, but because of the joy it brought to someone I love dearly. It was a Jonas Brothers concert, and the excitement began long before we arrived at the venue. My aunt is the biggest Jonas Brothers fan I know—she absolutely adores them. So, when the opportunity came to surprise her with tickets, I couldn't pass it up. Planning the surprise was almost as thrilling as the concert itself. Coordinating with family members, we kept it a secret until the day of the event. The look on her face when we revealed the tickets was priceless; she was overjoyed and couldn't believe it. Knowing that I could make her so happy made me feel incredible, and I couldn't wait to share this experience with her. As we approached the concert venue, the atmosphere was buzzing with anticipation. The streets were filled with fans wearing Jonas Brothers merchandise, and the air was electric with excitement. It was really loud, with fans chatting eagerly and music playing even before we got inside. The sense of community among the fans was exhilarating; everyone was there for the same reason, and it felt like we were part of something bigger. Inside the arena, the energy intensified. The lights dimmed, and a roar erupted from the crowd as the first notes played. The stage came alive with vibrant lights and visuals, amplifying the thrill of the moment. Standing beside my aunt, we joined thousands of voices singing along to every song. We danced, laughed, and immersed ourselves in the experience, creating memories that I'll never forget. The Jonas Brothers delivered an incredible performance. But the highlight for me was seeing my aunt's happiness. She was singing at the top of her lungs, smiling from ear to ear, and genuinely having the time of her life. At one point, she grabbed my hand and exclaimed how grateful she was to be there with me. Sharing that moment made my heart melt and reminded me of the importance of family and creating shared experiences. It was touching to see her so carefree and joyful, and I felt privileged to be a part of that. After the concert, as we made our way out, we couldn't stop talking about our favorite songs and moments from the show. The excitement lingered, and we both knew that this was an experience we would cherish forever. The streets outside were filled with fellow concert-goers, all basking in the afterglow of the performance. We exchanged smiles and brief conversations with strangers, united by the shared joy of what we'd just witnessed. That night was more than just a concert; it was a celebration of music, love, and family. It reminded me of the joy that comes from making others happy and the lasting impact of shared experiences. Whenever I think back to that evening, I'm filled with warmth and gratitude. It truly was the greatest memory I could have asked for.
      Mad Grad Scholarship
From the moment I first sketched designs in my notebooks, I knew that visual arts—especially fashion design—were more than just interests; they were a piece of me that I was missing. My passion is fueled by the power of fashion to tell stories, convey emotions, inspire confidence, and create something new and totally unpredictable. Co-owning a daycare at 19 taught me invaluable lessons about leadership and nurturing growth, both in others and within myself. This experience deepened my commitment to pursue a career where I can blend my entrepreneurial spirit with my artistic vision. What motivates me to continue this is the limitless potential to make a meaningful impact through fashion. I believe that clothing is more than fabric; it's a form of self-expression that transcends cultural and societal boundaries. Icons like Rihanna have shown me that it's possible to merge creativity with business acumen, breaking barriers and setting new standards in the industry. I am driven by the desire to create designs that empower individuals, promote diversity, and challenge conventional norms. Given the rapid advancements in technology—such as artificial intelligence, digital art, and automatic scriptwriting tools—the landscape of visual arts is evolving faster than ever. I embrace these tools as extensions of my creative palette. AI can assist in generating innovative patterns and optimizing sustainable materials, while digital art platforms allow me to experiment without limitations, bringing my visions to life more vividly. However, I believe that technology should enhance, not replace, the human touch that gives art its soul. One of my lifelong projects is to develop a multimedia fashion brand that combines clothing design with storytelling across various platforms, including a web series and graphic novels. This venture aims to weave narratives that highlight cultural diversity, personal growth, and the empowerment of underrepresented voices. By utilizing digital media and interactive technologies, I plan to create immersive experiences that invite audiences to not only witness but participate in the storytelling process. As a student of the arts, I will continue to add the spirit of creation and storytelling to my future projects by staying curious and adaptable. Collaboration is key; working with other creatives—writers, digital artists, technologists—will enrich my work and push the boundaries of what's possible. I am committed to lifelong learning, whether it's mastering new design software, exploring virtual reality experiences, or understanding the ethical implications of AI in art. In conclusion, my "why" is rooted in a deep passion for using fashion as a medium to tell impactful stories and foster connections. The advancements in technology excite me because they open new avenues for creativity and expression. By integrating these tools thoughtfully, I aim to create work that resonates on a personal level while also contributing to the broader discourse in visual arts and design. With dedication and innovation, I am eager to shape the future of fashion and inspire others to pursue their own creative journeys.
Ethel Hayes Destigmatization of Mental Health Scholarship
Facing my mental health challenges has been a transformative experience but yet a struggle in my life. Going through stress and emotional hurdles while co-owning a daycare at 19 forced me to confront my well-being head-on. My experience with mental health has motivated me to prioritize self-care and pursue a career that aligns with my true passion—fashion design. I’ve come to see fashion not just as a form of art but as a powerful medium for self-expression and empowerment. My goal is to attend SCAD Atlanta to develop my skills and create designs that inspire confidence and promote mental well-being. I aim to launch a fashion line that encourages open conversations about mental health, using creativity to break down stigmas. Dealing with mental health issues has taught me the importance of vulnerability and authentic connections. Opening up about my struggles allowed me to build stronger relationships with family, friends, and even colleagues at the daycare. This experience has made me more empathetic and understanding toward others facing their own challenges. By fostering open communication, I’ve created a supportive network that not only aids my well-being but also enriches the lives of those around me. My journey has reshaped how I view society and my place in it. I’ve become more aware of the widespread impact of mental health issues and the importance of addressing them openly. This awareness drives me to advocate for mental health within the fashion industry. I believe that integrating messages of self-care and acceptance into my designs can contribute to a more compassionate and inclusive world. In conclusion, my experience with mental health has been a catalyst for personal growth and a redefined purpose. It has shaped my goals to blend fashion with advocacy, strengthened my relationships through empathy, and expanded my worldview to prioritize well-being and inclusivity. Armed with these insights, I am determined to make a positive impact in the fashion industry and inspire others to embrace their own journeys toward mental wellness.

WCEJ Thornton Foundation Music & Art Scholarship
Fashion design is my actual artistic love, and I aim to challenge people's perceptions of my work. In order for people to be able to uncover the true significance of my designs, I want there to be a slight struggle for them. Finding a profound significance in the art and connecting it to each person's unique life may be difficult to define. I want to achieve this while also getting them to think in fresh ways. There are challenges everywhere we look. They allow us to grow and educate ourselves. If there is difficulty, each and every one of us is being helped by my art; impact. I would like to engage in a conversation with others, it can be one of the finest methods to relate to and connect with a person in a way where you could be inspired to discuss that issue. Even if I don't hold a medical degree, its astonishing how art can cure. Even without considering the various feelings that art may evoke, it has therapeutic potential. My art can aid people who are coping with depression, anxiety, and love issues. Once again, I can make a huge difference in people's lives. I want to engage with many topics, harmony, love, etc. I want to discuss issues and topics that aren't discussed enough and offer them in shops for people of all ages. I am aware that current hot topics like love and time are popular, and I would like to include those as well as anxiety, hope, pride, blm, and a lot more. I want to share my stories and others'. Whatever the method, we consider any artwork that causes viewers to rethink their perspectives to be wonderful. Even while it's not always simple, it has so great potential.

Improvisation was always my strong suit having no plan was always my best plan. Since I was a child, I've wanted to be a fashion designer since nothing fascinated me more than new and forthcoming trends, as well as the fact that this sector is constantly changing. While fashion was once only a notion, it has now evolved into a way of life for a large number of individuals such as myself. So much so that the majority of people desire to pursue it as a full-time career. I was never the best at sewing but I kept practicing and researching since none of my parents were into fashion as much. Doing that helped me grow a mindset of determination and independence. I’ve had many design ideas that failed in the past that I was truly disappointed in, but that helped me to realize that making mistakes are okay sometimes. A few years ago, I couldn’t even sketch designs or even draw but I practiced as much as I could, whenever I had spare time. At this point in my life, I listen passionately. Don't get me wrong, I love following my intuition, but appreciating people's criticism makes me a better designer. I saw my commitment mainly in my high school’s honor society. I wasn't president or vice president, I got secretary. I wasn't the most excited at the time, because I always had a leadership mentality, but I took it as an opportunity for something different. It took a little getting used to all the writing, listening and notes, but it was beneficial. I heard all the ideas, thoughts, views and instincts. It took hours and days to talk to our presidents, community and family members before we started volunteering. I was next in line when the presidents were sick, and that day changed my entire thinking. Being a president doesn’t mean being dictatorial and heard 24 /7. It means listening and leading, while keeping peers on track about what will help or hurt the goal. This dramatically changed my perspective. Even if you don't have the title "president," you can still be heard, but in a different way. If you ask someone what comes to mind when they hear the word "fashion," the first things that come to mind are runways, glitz, glam, stylish clothes, and so on. But that's not all; fashion allows you to express yourself and put your ideas on display for the rest of the world to see. This is one major way I want to help impact. My grandmother is 81 and asks me to help pick out some clothes for her vacations, as it stresses her! I want to style and make clothes for adults or teens, who either don't want to pick out clothes every morning for school or grandparents not knowing which outfit looks best together. I’ve been studying colleges for a while now, and in hopes of becoming a better designer, joining forces with my leadership, creativity, motivation, listening skills, and communication. SCAD will help me get there. SCAD will help me get to a “Just Do It” mindset and goal output.

In the least clichéd sense, I had numerous challenges to overcome in my life. My middle and high schools were never known for their fashion sense. I am from a rather unknown city. I had to learn fashion on my own because I had no medium background. I'd buy magazines to look at the illustrations and see how different materials flowed over people's bodies and molded together. I watched a lot of things to become inspired. Bossing up and sorting it out helped me build a drive and independence perspective. I was so into art that I'd improvise on almost anything. I let my imagination run wild on the pages and construct outfits from there. My interest began when I realized that nothing captivated me more than fresh and emerging trends. When I discovered I had a creative streak in middle school, my parents immediately became supportive and encouraged me to pursue my dreams. I'd stroll about with a sketchbook, not knowing what you'd find or where your mind would fit that ideal anything. My portfolio displays my whole personality. The symbology represents the difficulties I had in satisfying myself as an artist. In the realm of art, it's critical to always be one step ahead of the competition. Spending your time doing something significant to your future vocation and being motivated will immediately equip you with the necessary mindset.
