Bio

I wish to earn a degree in Forensics to become an investigator. I have worked to be first in my class since I began my freshman year in highschool. Currently, I am at the top of my class, and derive satisfaction from my work ethic. I intend to do every possible dual credit, AP, and honors program I can. I have not failed that goal, as I do so each year. I can not wait to find a college with an exemplary forensic program, so that I may make my family proud.

Harry Potter and the Sorting Hat Scholarship
My deep enjoyment and passion for reading began when I was in sixth grade, and had moved out of a trailer home into a a real house. One of the novels that began such a love was the Harry Potter series. I became obsessed with sectioning myself into a labeled house, equally as enthusiastic as when I wanted to know what God would be my parent within the Percy Jackson fandom. After many, many BuzzFeed quizzes and official magazine reports, I found the house for me. I am a Ravenclaw without a doubt. Ravenclaws embody intellect, discipline, learning, and wisdom. All qualities I have expressed through my GPA, overworking attitude, and desire to exceed in any application. My efforts within each and every honors program, dual credit course, and AP exam have been testimonial to this house's values. I always turn in my work on time, and I am never late to classes. More importantly, school and my education have been the most valuable thing to me. I put great stock in succeeding now in high school courses so that I might rise above and beyond in college. My positive perspective on learning has made me quite eager to ready and prepare for college as soon as possible. My entire application to Texas A&M University was completed before the end of August. I was accepted into the University before September, due to automatic admissions. My major was decided within the same month, and I have my schedules lined out for this last summer ever of being a high schooler. I know what I will be doing every single day for the next four months. From working hourly every day to graduating to senior trip to world horse shows and straight to fish camp at A&M. Besides my favorite color being blue, I have always been inspired by Ravenclaw's creativity. You do not have to be academically inclined to be considered smart. There are various ways to achieve such a reputation. l express this remarkability in all of my clubs and organizations in high school. Future Farmers Of America, National Honors Society, National Technical Honors Society, Daughters of the Republic of Texas, FCCLA, Botany club, and Congressional Debate UIL, are only a few of the clubs I have to be creative within. I need this mindset to be able to produce new community service ideas, new speech ideas, new legislative bills, and more. All in all, my path and decisions in high school have helped solidify in my mind the value of reading at such a young age. I was given motivation and inspiration to be someone of importance, by being shown perfect role models that matched my personality. I would not be the same if not for my love of reading, and that has not slowed down even with my busy schedule at my age. For these reasons, I know who I am and what I always will try to be as I serve my community in my future career.
    Shays Scholarship
Voices echoed across the stage as each new member sat in the same velvet upholstery I rested in only a year ago. However, instead of laughing with the team I have known since freshman year, I found myself walking in a line to the backroom of the stage. Each year, district elections are held within the FFA, to locate the next leaders to guide district conventions and activities. In the turmoil of nerves, the teenage audience quickly began to appear more judgmental of what I was about to say before them. I knew our district, being full of small towns, was not that great when compared to the entirety of this national organization. Yet, I knew every member I was going to speak to had a heart for agriculture that needed to be influenced by someone proud to advocate beyond the power of the position. I have been within the Future Farmers of America since 2020, and with my introduction to that organization, I found my public speaking abilities out of the isolation of the COVID pandemic. Being within FFA, I was placed into numerous career-preparing events. Many of my officer elections created me into the leader I am today. This exposure to being a centered focus in a room of hundreds of people is what I know will ready me for my career in forensic law and science. I am passionate about forensics, I want to serve and protect my community through the study and application of scientific advances. Forensics has been my dream job since middle school, so I know that I am not going to stray from that path. I completed an early application in August and got accepted to Texas A&M University in College Station, and fully intend to commit to that college for the next several years. I want to get a Masters from triple majoring in both Forensic science and law. I intend to follow in the footsteps of my cousin, Rachel, who makes a tremendous impact on the lives of rape or murder victim's families. I want to protect and serve my community through the science of forensics, and its unique methods in bringing justice in the legal system. I fully intend to follow this dream to the end, no matter if I end up in police work or as a medical examiner. I want to incorporate my logical mind into someone beyond myself. I want to touch the lives of those harmed by the cruelty of human sin and I want to find purpose in doing so. My ability to stay focused, organized, and on task with documentation will ensure my accuracy in my profiling or reports. I am most excited about learning all of the methods or potential situations that could make or break the prosecution's case. I want to know how DNA forms an individual's appearance, how to read a crime scene, and how to treat victims after their experienced abuse. Most importantly, I want to place myself in the front of a courtroom, and confidently explain the evidence that will protect the life of any potential future victims
