I'm often described as passionate, empathetic, hardworking, and dedicated to excellence. My family played a significant role in shaping me, instilling values of respect, humor, and giving my all. However, my journey hasn't been without challenges. I was bullied when I moved to Minnesota, and it made me aware of the severe effects on mental and emotional well-being. To support those struggling with mental health issues, I'm an ambassador for the "I'm Glad You Stayed Project." The loss of two soccer teammates to suicide in 24 months inspired me to promote mental health. As a Minnesota Varsity State Soccer player and a National United Soccer Coaches Senior Excellence Award recipient, I aim to continue playing soccer at the collegiate level. I also plan to pursue a medical degree with a strong foundation in psychology, inspired by the intricate workings of the human mind and its impact on physical health. My passion for soccer complements my interest in psychology, as understanding emotions and behavior is crucial in both fields. With a focus on psychology, I hope to contribute to advancements in mental health care. I'm excited about the future at Post University in Waterbury, CT Fall of 2023 playing for the Eagles Women's Soccer Team, earning my degree, and determined to make the most of every opportunity.
