Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, I completed my undergraduate degree at Cornell University before taking a gap year to gain hands-on experience in animal care. During that time, I worked as both an animal care technician at a local shelter and a veterinary assistant, deepening my passion for clinical work and animal welfare. I’m now a third-year veterinary student pursuing a career in small animal and exotic animal medicine, with plans to complete a small animal rotating internship and behavior residency. Outside of veterinary medicine, I enjoy hiking, exploring natural areas, and caring for my multiple freshwater aquariums.
