Hello! I am a dedicated community development manager specializing in effective political and social justice for Marginalized Peoples via program and policy analysis and grassroots organizing centered on BIPOC lived experiences.
My passions revolve around uplifting marginalized communities and working with coalitions to push for progressive policy change. I believe that it is our moral responsibility to center people that have been pushed out of the dominant narrative of community development.
I am pursuing my masters degree in public policy at the University of Michigan this fall and am planning on studying climate refugees/climate refugee policies as well as environmental justice and policies around Indigenous Land Sovereignty. My goal is to one day help NGO's around the world mobilize around pushing progressive policies through their governments in order to welcome climate refugees and also work with Enviornmental activists and agencies to give portions of land back to Indigenous Communities around the world.
