Hello, My name is Rayiona Bailey. I attend Lincoln High School and Humanities/Communications Magnet, I have taken college classes at El Centro since my freshman year and will be graduating with my associate degree. My educational aspirations consist of acquiring my bachelor's degree in any biological or health science that would assist me in pursuing a medical career as a travel nurse. My career vision is to one day open a client to provide affordable healthcare to rural communities in the United States, but for that to happen I am certain that if I do not complete my college degree I could never have the opportunity to achieve my career goals. I decided on my career as a travel nurse because it has always been my passion in helping others and trying to provide services worldwide to people who can't afford them. My family was always making ends meet so extra bills like a hospitality bill were not something my family needed so trips to the hospital for even a check-up was never an option. Therefore, pursuing a career such as a travel nurse will provide the opportunity to help improve the community's health quality conditions and learn about their medical needs. After becoming a certified travel nurse, I want to go around the world helping people from all over for them to have a better understanding of their health for a reasonable price. The first health project I want to accomplish throughout my career as a travel nurse is to establish a free clinic where affordable medical assistance can be provided regardless of the patient's money status. The diverse health services would include free doctor consultations, low-price or free medication, and nutritional classes to prevent the presence of diabetes or heart disease. I also intend to provide an interpreter for patients in case they do not speak English and establish a financial assistance program to help patients who are not able to pay for any type of surgery that needs to be performed. For me to reach my dream I need to stay focused on my studies and understand my work without the worries of paying out of pocket and debt. That is why this scholarship will help me thank you for your time. There are many ways I plan to use my nursing degree to impact the future. I plan on working to improve healthcare outcomes by advocating for policies that promote health and prevent disease, educating patients and their families about healthy behaviors, and conducting research to improve our understanding of the factors that contribute to health and wellness, Also I want to work to address health disparities and promote health equity by providing care to underserved populations and working to eliminate barriers to healthcare access. By using my nursing degree to make a positive impact, I can help create a healthier and more equitable future for everyone.

I believe that everyone deserves to have equal opportunities regardless of their gender. It's important to work toward gender equality so that everyone can have a fair chance to succeed. I hope to make a positive impact by advocating for change, educating others, and leading by example. I want to use my skills and knowledge to help make the world a better place. Women and girls continue to endure political, economic, and social inequity. Learn about the core reasons for gender inequality, from greater levels of poverty to a lack of access to basic and higher education to their underrepresentation in leadership and decision-making. Gender disparity in Texas can manifest in many ways, such as unequal pay, limited access to education and healthcare, and gender-based violence. The main problem is that it prevents people from being able to fully participate in society and reach their full potential. Gender disparity is a problem in Texas because it can lead to unequal opportunities and outcomes for people based solely on their gender. This can prevent people from reaching their full potential and limit their ability to fully participate in society. It's important to work toward gender equality so that everyone can have a fair chance to succeed. The negative impacts of gender disparity in the workplace include decreased productivity. If employees must focus on dealing with sexual harassment, their attention to work may be considerably reduced. High Employee Turnover: A hostile work environment can lead to high employee turnover and have a detrimental impact on the workplace's gender imbalance. My career vision is to one day open a client to provide affordable healthcare to rural communities in the United States. I decided on my career as a travel nurse because it has always been my passion in helping others and trying to provide services worldwide to people who can't afford them. Pursuing a career such as a travel nurse will provide the opportunity to help improve the community, especially in woman’s health quality conditions so they can learn about their medical needs. After becoming a certified travel nurse, I want to go around the world helping people from all over for them to have a better understanding of their health for a reasonable price. Rayiona Bailey There appears to be no way to ensure a flawless world, but I believe that by taking little measures, we may get closer. Mental health, in my opinion, should be prioritized and addressed in a variety of settings right now. Many individuals go through life unaware of who they are, why things happen to them, or how to cope with them. Improving mental health and developing effective coping mechanisms in people of all ages may have a beneficial impact on the globe. Our mental health has an impact on our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It influences how we think, feel, and act. From infancy and youth through maturity, mental health is critical. The psychological and emotional well-being of a person is referred to as their mental state. Teachers are not trained in mental health, and on top of that, they have other students in the classroom and other responsibilities. They lack the time, money, and expertise needed to give specialized care to students displaying signs of mental health difficulties. Furthermore, even though parents recognize the importance of the topic, mental health education is rarely incorporated into the student's curriculum. Students' mental health can affect their academic performance, social lives, and emotional well-being. Students who battle with mental health may face more serious challenges in school and in life, whereas those who do not struggle may be more excited about their education, social experiences, and other interests. Untreated mental health disorders can have a negative impact on homelessness, poverty, employment, safety, and the local economy. They may have an impact on local business productivity and healthcare expenses, as well as the ability of children and teens to flourish in school and create family and community unrest. Many factors operate against children who have mental health difficulties. Mental health issues might make children feel uneasy in class, deterring them from speaking out or participating, and even making it difficult for them to form relationships with others. Their mental health difficulties can be a source of distress, adding to feelings of isolation and loneliness. Many youngsters in this scenario believe that no one understands or cares about them. Some things I feel can help children in these situations are educating staff, parents, and students on the indicators of mental health problems and how to deal with them. You can help the mental health of all children in your classroom and school, not just those who have behavioral concerns. Consider the following actions: promote social and emotional competence and resilience, contribute to a healthy and safe school environment Teach and encourage desirable behavior, decision-making, and so forth. Doing things like this may assist in enrolling kids and encourage them to speak up about their concerns, as well as help other students understand the signs and become better people.
