I am a proud graduate of Norfolk State University, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice, graduating with a 3.9 GPA. My academic journey has equipped me with a deep understanding of societal structures and the legal system, which I aim to use to advocate for women and children who have endured domestic violence, abuse, neglect, and human trafficking. I am passionate about creating meaningful change for vulnerable populations. I aspire to work in child protection services or anti-human trafficking organizations, where I can combine my knowledge and compassion to help survivors rebuild their lives. I am committed to addressing systemic issues that contribute to cycles of abuse and to advocating for policy reforms that ensure justice and protection for those in need. What sets me apart as a scholarship candidate is my unwavering dedication to my goals, my strong academic track record, and my commitment to service. Throughout my college experience, I actively engaged in community service through my military Greek organization, mentored peers, and sought opportunities to uplift others. My determination, resilience, and drive to make a difference inspire me to excel in my academic and professional pursuits. A scholarship would enable me to further my education and expand my impact as an advocate and leader. By investing in me, you are supporting a future where survivors of trauma can find hope and healing through dedicated, informed, and passionate advocacy.
