One of the reasons that "C.R.E.A.M." has an important message is because it shines a light on the harsh realities of life in disadvantaged neighborhoods. The song's chorus, "Cash rules everything around me C.R.E.A.M. Get the money Dollar, dollar bill y'all," speaks to the central role that money plays in the lives of those living in poverty. It suggests that in such communities, the pursuit of wealth is often the only way to achieve security and stability. However, "C.R.E.A.M." also suggests that this pursuit of wealth can be a double-edged sword. The song's verses depict the dangers of drug dealing and other illegal activities as a means of making money. The lyrics describe the violence and fear that come with living in the ghetto, and the harsh consequences that one may face if they are caught breaking the law. C.R.E.A.M. also portrays a message of hope by highlighting the determination the people living in the ghetto have to live in a society that is ruled by monetary wealth.

Growing up in a low-income household can be a challenging experience, but it has also taught me how to persevere and make the most of my circumstances. I have seen firsthand how poverty can lead some people in my community to turn to illegal activities as a means of survival. However, I have also learned that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and creating a better future for myself. I have also been fortunate enough to witness the transformative power of education. My mother instilled in me the importance of education and the belief that it is the key to a better life. She always told me that an education is something that can never be taken away from you, and I completely agree. That's why I am so determined to go to college. Not only would it be a personal accomplishment, but it would also be a milestone for my family. I would be the first in my family to attend college, and I am eager to set an example for my younger sibling and the rest of my community. However, the financial burden of college is a real concern for me. As a low-income student, I struggle to afford tuition and other expenses. I often worry about how I will pay for my education and if I will be able to take out enough loans to cover all of my costs. That's why this scholarship would be such a game-changer for me. It would allow me to focus on my studies and not worry about the financial strain of college. Receiving this scholarship would not only be a personal achievement, but it would also be an opportunity for me to give back to my community. I want to use my education to make a positive difference in the world, and I believe that attending college is the first step towards achieving that goal. With the support and assistance of this scholarship, I am confident that I can succeed and make something of myself. In conclusion, going to college is a dream that I have held dear for a long time, and I am determined to make it a reality. With the help of this scholarship, I can focus on my studies and work towards a better future for myself and my community. Thank you for considering my application and for your support in helping me achieve my goals.

One of the first memories I have of going to the corner store by myself was when I was about 8 years old. My grandmother had a sweet tooth and always had a stash of candy in the house, but she had a particular weakness for Skittles. I remember one day she asked me to run down to the corner store and grab a bag for her. I was excited to be able to do something for my grandmother and felt a sense of responsibility to make sure I didn't mess up the simple task she had given me. I asked her for some money and headed down to the store, determined to bring back the best bag of Skittles I could find. When I got to the store, I was immediately overwhelmed by the selection of candy. There were so many different types and flavors, and I had no idea which ones my grandmother would like best. I decided to just go with the classic original Skittles and headed to the counter to pay. Then it struck me: I should get a couple of things for myself. At this time, I could get 4 bags of chips, juice, and some candy for less than $3. My grandmother gave me a $20 bill and I felt like the man. I picked up snacks on top of snacks, knowing my mom would never allow this. As I'm finally done scavenging the store for snacks, I finally make it up to the counter. Although I felt like the man, I most certainly was not. I fumbled over my words and couldn't even make a clear, cohesive sentence. It was awful. Thank god the man at the counter was a nice and patient man because even I would've looked at myself funny. Eventually, he bagged my items up and I went on my merry way, but I wish the story ended there. When I got home and after I gave my grandmother the Skittles, my younger brother comes into the room and asks for some snacks. Now I know you might be thinking, why not just share with him? He was supposed to come to the store with me and deliberately chose to stay home because he believed he was not going to get any snacks. I was appalled at his audacity because who did he think he was trying to reap the benefits of my labor? Now, whenever we go on a store run, he makes sure he comes with me so we can both cash out together.
