FinalistBio
Since I was young, I’ve been drawn to how businesses work; how people make decisions and how numbers tell powerful stories. Over time, that interest became something deeper: a passion for using financial strategy to create real, lasting change. I’m now pursuing a career in sustainability, where I hope to help organizations meet their financial goals while also doing good for people and the planet.
My dream of becoming an accountant started in the fifth grade. I told my math teacher, and instead of laughing, she said, “I believe you can.” That moment has stayed with me. Today, I’m majoring in Accounting because I know how vital financial knowledge is to building better businesses. My education is equipping me with tools to help organizations lead with both purpose and profit.
As a first-generation college student and a mother of two, I’ve faced more than a few uphill battles. But my children are my light. Every challenge I push through is to show them that their mother never gave up and that they don’t have to either. I’ve also served my community feeding the homeless, building solar homes, and educating others about clean energy because I believe change starts with giving.
Financial support is more than money it’s belief. It tells me that my goals matter. With it, I’ll keep rising, keep giving, and keep showing my children that their mother didn’t just dream, she made it real!
