I am a 26 year old college graduate currently preparing for graduate school in the fall. I am interested in pursuing a career in Information Technology Systems. In my free time, I learn new choreographies and teach people some African dances, watch my favorite TV shows, or ride my bike. As a first generation low-income student, the cost of my education is significantly higher than funds I have saved for myself and what my family can cover. I am already in debt for my undergraduate student loan and have limited access to student loans due to my nonresident/international student status, so getting scholarships will help me enormously by bringing me closer to achieving my dream of receiving higher education.
