    The Final Push Scholarship
Graduating college means the world to me as my main primary concern at this moment. I am an undergraduate, junior college student, and I'm currently struggling to make ends meet. I am an independent, young woman who takes care of herself, pays her own bills, attends college full-time, works a part-time job, and as I take care of necessities on my behalf. Lately, no matter what plans I have, things continue to block my blessings which upholds everything to become too stressful. Rajene's life consists of so much trauma that I will always have a testimony to tell. I grew up in the foster care system and was lucky to come out as an adopted child. Attending college and furthering my education was the only safe space I've ever had for myself. The recent years I've spent through college have been a reality check because I've learned to place boundaries between myself and my loved ones. Attending college and maintaining college are stressful. I have lost my brother, lost my child during my pregnancy, lost old-time friends, and lost attachments with my parents. Despite everything I've experienced throughout my sophomore and junior years, my brother and child I never met are the #1 reasons I continue to focus on my undergraduate studies. In my undergraduate studies, as a junior, I am currently taking six classes this semester with an additional graduate record examination course, that prepare me for graduate college. My focus is to become a mental health counselor, so I can always give back to my community to shape the minds of individuals and tackle their traumas head-on. I am the most enjoyable person you can ever meet that is amazing to me when strangers come up to me and always spill their stories. Displaying the spark and enlightenment within myself is amazing because individuals can always trust and confide in me. I was always the little girl who would talk a lot because I wanted attention and hardly ever received any growing up. I've learned to remain calm, focus on myself, set boundaries, refocus all the negative energy I may have used to help other individuals. The timeframe I have set for myself is immaculate consisting of: - Attend a Summer Internship 2022 - Graduate by the end of Spring 2023 - Apply to graduate school in December 2022 & receive an acceptance letter for Fall 2023 - Graduate grad school by the end of Fall 2026 - Attend additional schooling to obtain a PH.D. to obtain my counseling practice I am highly career-focused on obtaining as much knowledge as I can better serve the members of my community. My focus is to shift the tension of mental health and promote better self-care to help our future family members, friends, and associates. It hardens my soul to see individuals treat their mental health poorly and not take better care of themselves. As I continue to further my education, worrying about my financial struggles is not healthy because I will do everything in my power to give back at all times.
