Earth, a living inanimate object that sustains that life of hundreds of thousands of microorganisms. From elephants to ants, to the thousands of particles living in a water droplet, life continues everyday. Humanity, vital caretakers, have the responsibility to make a difference. Recycling can be the difference between life and death for a delicate organism. Ocean animals especially the risk of consuming harmful chemicals in recyclable material. This can cause death of an entire species which damages entire ecosystems. By removing plastic from the ocean and repurposing it for something else, whole food chains will remain stable. It can extend the life of plastic up to 10 times. This not only cuts down on waste to fill up landfills, but it also protects plants, animals and people. Recycling is one of the simplest ways that humanity can take care of the planet. Simply not throwing away your trash can clean out oceans and protect the planet for generations.
