The one dream I've had consistently in my life is to help people. When I was little, maybe that meant ruling a kingdom as a princess, or exploring the cosmos as an astronaut. Now, it means becoming a nurse. I have never been so passionate about anything as I am about my dream to pursue healthcare. This past semester, on top of taking regular required nursing classes, I also dedicated four hours a night, twice a week to an additional, non-credit course. For the past three months I have been taking night classes to become an Emergency Medical Technician, and plan to spend next semester as a volunteer EMT in addition to my school's regular nursing clinicals. I am a creative soul when I'm not studying, and spend my free time listening to music, making music, illustrating, and writing. I also am a new member of my college's club rugby team and am an avid ice hockey fan (Go Boston Bruins!). I believe my multi-faceted hobbies in the arts, sports, and academics will help me immensely in my future endeavors.
