What are your life goals? What's your 3 year plan? 5 year plan? 10 year plan? Being a young, professional like myself, I'm asked these questions constantly. More often then not, I do not have a complete answer. I am passionate about eating disorder education and intervention, and I'd be delighted to have a career in that field. After studying under inspiring, life-changing professors, I've dreamed about pursuing a PHD in Theology to become a religious studies college professor to change the lives of students like they changed mine. However, with that said, I am currently a software consultant, and I am very content with my work. I'm working in the industry I hoped to, oil and gas, and serving our customers gives me pride and satisfaction. For the time being, my dream jobs are just that - a dream. Both my dream jobs require additional education and advanced degrees, and that's a daunting thought when I'm already in a great deal of debt. It is not logical for me to pursue any more education until I "clear my name". I pay ahead on all my loans and I've paid aggressively when I could, but additional student-loan forgiveness scholarships or grants would be a tremendous help in eliminating my loans and getting myself on a better life path.
