I am a senior at the University of New Mexico and a lifelong learner whose work is interdisciplinary and utilizes current trends and modern resources. My academic background is a mixture of the humanities and technology. Most work I create is digitally based, made using computers and their ability to automate, organize, pursue efficiency and communicate in a digital space. I use electronic tools to produce, write, organize and edit content to suit my current projects and goals. Past projects of mine include: developing computer games; writing code using Processing software to create visual works; assisting the UNM Art Museum in creating a virtual interactive gallery and seminar space; advocating for underrepresented students in the arts; co-directing an independent short film; investigating NAGPRA compliance in New Mexican museums; and generating AI based imagery. My inspiration comes from technological innovation in the arts and contemporary ways of combining art and business. Though my undergraduate degree is artistically centered (BA in Interdisciplinary Arts), a drive to increase my scope of influence is what pushed me towards my current role as a law student. I seek to apply legal knowledge towards the realm of art and technology in order to advocate for arts organizations and nonprofits that provide service to their communities.
