Hello! I am a graduate student pursuing a Master's degree in history, with the hopes of someday joining the academic field of history in order to share my passion for history with others, and inspire young women to become historians.
Aside from history, I am very interested in the specialty coffee industry, keeping and caring for exotic houseplants, reading, and spending time with my friends and family. I studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark during my junior year of college and absolutely fell in love with the country and traveling, and I hope to be able to afford to travel again soon so that I can go back!
I'm a first generation college student, and I am working to afford to support myself while pursuing my degree. I believe in having a healthy work-life balance, and despite being busy I find time for myself whenever I can.

During my undergraduate career, I learned that taking a risk and doing something that sounds terrifying is nearly always worth it. Before studying abroad, I had never travelled alone, gone without seeing my family for more than a month, or even been on a plane before. That all changed when I boarded a plane for Denmark in August of 2019 to spent my junior fall abroad, without knowing a single other person in the program. It was the scariest thing I've ever done, and it ended up being the best four months of my life. If I'd never taken the risk, I never would have had the incredible experiences that studying abroad allowed me to have or realized how much I love to travel.
